Biography

My name is Egzona Bexheti. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Law and a master’s in International Law from the University of Pristina. I completed part of my master’s studies in Ankara, Turkey, as an exchange student. During my study years, I completed an internship at the Court of Appeal in Pristina, worked as an intern at James Madison University in Florence, Italy, volunteered within the European Volunteering Service Program in Intercultural Youth Dialogue Association in Cairo, Egypt, and recently did an internship at the Office of the Prosecutor at UN International Residual Mechanism of Criminal Tribunals, in The Hague, Netherlands.
As my interest lies in non-formal education, I have been involved in numerous projects in the region and beyond and in within Erasmus+ programme, promoting and getting trained in human rights and peace. As a YEA I am focused on promoting EU values and opportunities for young people from Western Balkan countries and see youth activism as the key to the changes we want to take place in our societies.
