Jelena Delibasic

Hello everyone. My name is Jelena Delibasic and I’m 19 years old. I go to Prva srednja strucna skola in Niksic, Montenegro, and I study pharmacy.

I would describe myself as a versatile, social, ambitious, and cheerful person who enjoys helping others in need and hanging out with friends. I am highly involved when it comes to youth activism. That proves my membership in school “Youth as active citizens”. It was focused on training young people to make their own decisions in political, economic, and civil area. Besides this, I must mention I took part in a competition called “Searching for human rights” held in Podgorica and organized in cooperation with EU Delegation in Montenegro and the EU Info center. At this wonderful competition, I had a chance to learn more about women’s, environmental, children’s rights as well as to gain knowledge about functioning EU Institutions and the United Nations in my country. This wonderful experience has definitely broadened my horizons and helped me to gain skills that are crucial for such a young person.
