Our YEAs met with the Ambassador to EU in Montenegro Ms Oana Cristina Popa to discuss the EU integrations process of Western Balkans into EU and how youth can be more involved by using their talents and capacities. This was the first meeting with the Delegation in Montenegro and was commented by YEAs as – truly inspiring. First, in many more to come! YEAs Montenegro will work hard during the next two years to make young people more visible on the EU Integrations agenda of the Western Balkans – by engaging their peers, friends and communities into a variety of activities and initiatives designed by YEA network. The changes need to be brought on by young people and they need to be able to gain experience in order to become what they want to become as soon as possible. Leaders are created through experience, said Ambassador Popa, adding that conditions should be created for extensive communication between young people and decision-makers, and thus to hear the voice of young people in decision-making points as much as possible.
